How the Care Trak Program Works

North Carolina Project Lifesaver utilizes proven radio technology and specially trained search and rescue task force members.

Your loved one who is part of the Care Trak Program wears a personalized wristband that emits a tracking signal.  When caregivers notify North Carolina Project Lifesaver that a Care Trak patient is missing, a search and rescue task force responds to the wanderer's area and begins searching with the mobile locator tracking system - greatly reducing search time.
