North Carolina Project Lifesaver, Avery County Sheriff’s Department, Davie County Sheriff Department and other agencies are organizing a memorial motorcycle ride across North Carolina in honor of all officers that have fallen in the line of duty. Chief Deputy Dallas Pate from Avery County Sheriff’s Department and Sheriff Andy Stokes from Davie County Sheriff Department have been spearheading the memorial ride which is scheduled for May, which is Fallen Officer Awareness Month. The ride will take place from
May 7th to May 15th.
